After a heavy 4-0 defeat to England in their opening match and a 1-0 win over Spain, the French U17 team delivered a strong performance by defeating Portugal 2-1. However, this second win in three matches was not enough; the Bleuets needed a larger margin to have a chance at qualification. As a result, the French U17 team is eliminated from the European Championship held in Cyprus

Mohamed Kader Meite is part of the French squad for the U17 Euro. The tournament will take place in Cyprus from May 20 to June 5. The French U17 team will first face England on Tuesday, May 21 (7:30 PM), then Spain three days later (7:30 PM), and finally Portugal on Monday, May 27 (7:30 PM). All three matches will be held in Larnaca.

U19 : Final stretch in the race for the playoffs. PSG (I. Diaby) easily defeated QRM (5-0) and is on track to win the Group A title. Despite a win against Avranches (1-0), Stade Rennais (K. Meite) will have to wait until the final matchday to secure their playoff spot—a must-win for the red and blacks. Monaco (A. Bamba) secured a home victory against Montpellier (3-0). Bayern Munich qualified for the Champions League semi-finals on Wednesday by beating Arsenal 1-0. Mathys Tel and his teammates continue their journey and will face Real Madrid. The first leg will take place on Wednesday, May 1st, at the Allianz Arena.
